First Look at Michael Fassbender in Costume for Assassin's Creed

The live action adaptation to the highly successful video game Assassin's Creed has been in production for quite some time. Now, fans of the game will be able to relax as the first photo has been released.

The photo features Callum Lynch, played by Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse), in full costume. The costume has been getting positive response from gamers and movie buffs online. The film is being directed by Justin Kurzel and joining Fassbender are Michael Kenneth Williams, Ariane Labed and Oscar winner Marion Cotillard. Below is a synopsis of the film/game:

"Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day."
