Jurassic Park 3D Movie Review
Back in the 90s when Jurassic
Park first came out, viewers were in awe as they left the cinemas. It was a
technological achievement brought in front of their eyes. Fast forward to 2013
as the film was re-released in 3D, and you still get the same awe as before.
Jurassic Park is a cinema legend.
During its release, it was ahead of its time. And now, it could still compete
with the CGI heavy movie industry. The re-release in 3D only added more fun and
excitement to an already adventure fueled film.
Of course, the film already is 9
out of 10. This review will be for the 3D conversion. When a film is converted
into 3D, some visual aspects are affected like brightness and clarity. But for
Jurassic Park, the conversion was well made that it made the film look like it
was made recently. The 3D made the thrill of the film rise. Like when the T-Rex
was chasing the jeep and it tries to bite anything it can reach or the
Velociraptors chasing the cast, the exhilaration just headed up.
The sound effects were also
enhanced and the memorable score made things complete. When you hear the score
for the first time in a long time, it will make you feel like a kid again
waiting to see your first glimpse at a dinosaur. I saw this in IMAX and the experience
was great. Great sounds plus the 3D visuals equals a great movie experience of
the past. This is one of the films that I enjoyed as a kid. And upon seeing it
again this time on the biggest screen on the planet, I was brought back to my
younger years looking at the screen and never blinking thinking that I might
miss a dinosaur pass by the screen. Jurassic Park made movie magic and that
magic is still here.
Jurassic Park is a classic film
that can still compete with new movies. It still engages audiences and will
leave you breathless at the excitement and adventure it brings. Like its tag
line, it is an adventure 65 million years in the making, and it’s worth the
wait. I give it 9 out of 10.
