The Lobster Trailer

Director Yorgos Lanthimos (Alps, Dogtooth) brings us a romantic comedy set in a dystopian world titled The Lobster. The film won the Jury Prize at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and was also nominated for the Palme d'Or.

The film has a great cast headed by Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, John C. Reilly, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Olivia Colman, Ashley Jensen and Michael Smiley. It is set to be released in the UK on October 16, 2015. Below is the synopsis of the film:

"In a dystopian near future, single people, according to the laws of The City, are taken to The Hotel, where they are obliged to find a romantic partner in forty-five days or are transformed into beasts and sent off into The Woods."
